I have applied this principle a lot in my life. Often, I’ve started projects based on a dream, or a whisper. I don’t have to know where it may go, or what will become of it. If there’s truth to it, it will grow on its own. Fueled by the original spark of the soul, the project will take flight when it wants to. I’m not saying “fake it till you make it”. But just start with what you have. Honestly. Make it a sincere offering.
I started this website in 2010 based on a message from an Owl that appeared in a dream.
It was one of those lucid dreams you remember upon rising. The Owl was no stranger. He had visited me many times since my NDE in childhood. But I had ignored and silenced him, walking a more material path at that time.
When he arrived again this time, I could no longer ignore him. I was freshly divorced in Mexico and had nothing left but a suitcase I was living out of in an abandoned house. I needed a life preserver, badly. And a sign for what to do next.
That morning I opened up my laptop and wrote my 1st article for the Medicine Owl. It was about Earthing, aka grounding. Did I feel ready? Nope. But I felt a spark of purpose and excitement. That was the sign.
So, start even if you’re afraid and have no clue where your idea is going. If you feel an ounce of passion or excitement around your project, then let it grow and take flight. It may come meet you in the future, when you least expect it.
